RIP Stubbs. Stubbs is dead. Local news reported from ADN today tops the list of compelling news stories of late. Apparently Stubbs, Talkeetna’s so-called Mayor was reported dead on his un-official face book page, at least for a while until someone reported that he was not dead, that he is actually still alive! Hallelujah!
What is this Game of Thrones? Stubbs the cat, Mayor of Talkeetna apparently is alive and well and prowling the streets as frisky as any live cat should be.
Instead of spending his spare time crafting fiscal policy or planning for his next campaign, Stubbs can usually be found traipsing about in the West Rib pub and by 4:00 all bet’s are off because Stubbs, forsaking all other engagements can always be found on the bar enjoying his poison-of-choice; catnip. Good copy.
